Israeli forces on Sunday arrested 18 Palestinians aross the West Bank areas, in addition to five Palestinians from the Jerusalem area, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC).
PPC said 11 Palestinians were arrested in Hebron City, five in nearby Beit Awwa area, in addition to one in Faraa refugee camp, near Tubas, and another one in the city of Al-Bireh.
Earlier at night, five Palestinians were arrested by Israeli police in Jerusalem, reported the PPC.
The recent arrests come in the midst of a surge of escalation in the West Bank following public and youth protests against the ongoing aggression on Gaza.
