Israeli forces on Sunday arrested five Palestinians in the Hebron Governorate, in the southern West Bank, according to local and security sources.
The sources said whereas three Palestinians were arrested in the town of Bani Naim, one Palestinian was arrested in Hebron City and another in the village of Beit Ummar.
They were arrested during predawn raids where soldiers stormed their homes and sabotaged their furniture.
The recent arrests come in the midst of a surge of escalation in the West Bank following public and youth protests against the ongoing aggression on Gaza.
