The Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah on Sunday met Norway's Envoy for Middle East Peace Process, Ambassador Tor Wennesland.
During the meeting, Hamdallah stressed the need the international community to adopt a new political path to bring Israeli occupation to an end and establish an independent Palestinian State based on pre-1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital, saying that any economic path will not succeed if it is not paralleled with a political process in order to achieve self-determination for the people of Palestine.
He stressed the importance of mobilizing international support for the French initiative to hold an international peace conference so as to find a serious and realistic solutions to the conflict with international guarantees, leading to a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause.
