Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on Israel to end escalation and air raids on Gaza Strip on Monday.
President Abbas warned, in a statement, against the dangerous escalation and called on the international community to intervene immediately and end the grave escalation which would lead the region to more "destruction and instability." The Palestinian leader asserted importance of calm and protecting Palestinian lives.
The Palestinian president noted that he is making extensive calls with many regional and international parties involved.
Abbas said earlier today the Palestinians would carry the case of Mohammad Abu Khudeir to the international courts.
