Local sources in Hebron in the occupied West Bank (WB) said on Saturday that Israeli armed settlers have attempted several days ago to commit a massacre in Othman bin Affan Mosque in the city while the worshipers were performing Fajr (dawn) prayers.
Masked settlers tried to storm the mosque during Fajr prayers, but their terrorist attempt was foiled when a driver parked his car in front of the mosque and they fled the scene, Palestinian News Agency quoted residents of the city as saying.
The worshipers tried to arrest the settlers, but they could not.
