Four Afghan soldiers and 45 militants have been killed in fresh military operations across the country, Khaama Press quoted General Zahir Azimi spokesman for the Ministry of Defense as saying in a statement issued on Sunday.
General Zahir Azimi writes in the statement that four soldiers were killed in an explosion and enemy fire in past 24 hours. The statement does not contain information about the location of the terrorist actions.
Azimi’s statement further states that 45 militants were killed and 41 others wounded during separate military operations in past 24 hours.
14 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also discovered and defused by security forces during these operations, the statement adds.
