Afghan security forces raided Taliban hideouts in parts of the central Wardak Province Friday night, killing four militants and arrested five others, Wardak's provincial administration said in a statement released here on Saturday. "The security forces stormed Taliban hideouts in Nurkh, Jaghato and Sayedabad districts last night killing four rebels, detaining five others," the statement added. Three more militants sustained injuries during the operations, the statement further said. Taliban militants, who staged a violent comeback in 2006 and since then have been fighting the government to take over the power, have yet to make comment.
