The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) lost three personnel in an aircraft crash in the eastern part of Afghanistan on Friday, said officials. ISAF in a brief statement said, "Two ISAF service members and one ISAF civilian died following an aircraft mishap in eastern Afghanistan today." The NATO led force didn't give the nationalities or the exact location of the incident. Earlier last month, an ISAF helicopter Black Hawk UH-60 went down in southern Zabul province killing at least six US soldiers. The local media reports confirmed that the militants in Shah Joi district shot down the chopper. Afghanistan will face a major transition as NATO/ISAF forces prepare to leave the country by the end of 2014.
