At least two government officials were killed and five others wounded following an explosion in the 12th police district of Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Tuesday, said an official.
Police spokesman, Hashmatullah Stanikzai confirmed the incident and told media that the explosion was from a remote-controlled explosive planted on the side of the road early this morning. He said that target of the blast was a coach carrying employees of the media section of the administrative affairs department, leaving at least two workers dead and five wounded. Investigation has been launched into the case, Stanikzai added.
