Eight Houthi militants were killed and five others injured in air raids carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition on militants positions on western Taiz governorate, SkyNews reported quoting local sources.
The coalition warplanes also destroyed rocket launching pads used by the militants in northwestern Mareb governorate.
In al Baydhaa governorate, Yemeni army troops killed seven militants and loyalists to former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Meanwhile, the sources noted that drones have shelled positions of the militants in Abyn province targeting elements of al-Qaeda terrorist group.
