Yemen security services were able to defuse two explosive devices placed next to a hotel in Aden in southern Yemen late on Friday, the Interior Ministry said. In a statement issued this morning, the ministry said that security services in Aden received a notice from an owner of a hotel in Mualla for a large suspicious diplomatic bag next to the hotel. The hotel owner added that three unknown persons who were hiding their faces put the bag next to the hotel after they opened fire at him, the ministry added. The security services moved to the scene and revealed that there were two TNT explosive devices inside the bag. Explosives experts were called to defuse the bombs.
