At least three people were killed and another 11 were injured when an explosive device planted by unknown elements went off at a popular market in Yemen's eastern province of Marib.
The blast occurred among a crowd of people, a security source said, adding that security personnel launched an investigation to identify the culprits.
Security authorities in the city had detained a female cell associated with Houthi group and deposed President Ali Abdullah Saleh that was moving explosive devices into the city.
