Eight Houthi rebels were killed and five others injured as Arab coalition planes shelled positions of Houthi militias and supporters of ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh in western Taiz, the Arabic-speaking Sky News reported.
The coalition warplanes knocked down a missile launcher in Sirwah district, northeast of Sanaa.
On Monday, the legitimate forces announced that seven Houthi-Saleh militias were killed in an ambush in al Bayda governorate.
