At least eight Houthis were killed and eleven others injured in clashes with Yemeni army forces and members of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRCs) on the frontlines of the southern city of Taiz, the media center of Taiz’s military council said on Thursday.
Also, a Yemeni soldier was murdered and four others were wounded in the confrontations, while a Yemeni citizen and two others were reported to have been killed in the Houthi shelling of residential neighbourhoods in the city, according to the media center.
Furthermore, the Yemeni army troops have repelled a Houthi attack in Al Shaqab area in southern Taiz, the media center said.
Another Houthi offensive was fended off in northern Han Mountain.
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition jets have bombarded an arms cache of the Houthis in Mawza district in southwestern Taiz.
Moreover, the Arab coalition jets have targeted a Houthi position in Al Wazi'iyah district in western Taiz and destroyed a cannon.
