Arab coalition warplanes shelled Al Qaeda and Houthi hideouts in Yemen's southern province of Abyan, killing and injuring several of their elements.
Local sources said that the warplanes struck al Qaida-held positions in a camp in Al Hesn city.
Thick columns of smoke were seen billowing from the camp, the sources added.
A vehicle was also struck by the coalition planes before it entered into the camp, which was used for manufacturing weapons, according to the sources.
