Arab coalition warplanes shelled in the wee hours of Thursday positions of Houthi militants and supporters of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Salah in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
Eyewitnesses said these are the most violent air raids to be launched on the Yemeni capital since the failure of Kuwait-based talks over the Yemeni crisis.
Nine explosions were heard in Sanaa and airplanes were seen flying at a low altitude before the aerial bombardment.
