Arab coalition jets early Saturday hit targets of the Houthi and Saleh militias at the Taiz University and in Habeel Soliman area in the west of Taiz.
The raids also targeted militants' sites in Jabal al Nar area in al Makha city.
The coalition jets hit sites of the militias in al Rahda and al Sharija areas on the border between Taiz and Lahaj Friday night, destroying a number of military vehicles, the media center of the Yemeni military council said.
As many as 23 militants were killed in air raids and 36 others wounded in the clashes, the center said, adding that four elements of the resistance were killed and 22 more injured in the face-off.
Three civilians were killed and 22 wounded in an airstrike by the militias on residential areas, the center further said.
