At least 20 people were killed and tens of others were wounded, including children, when a suicide bomber blew himself up during a protest in central of the capital, Yemen's Houthis announced Thursday.
The Houthis' group said that the attack targeted a demonstration, organized by the group, in a protest to appointing Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak as Yemen's new Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, three Yemeni soldiers were killed and many others were injured in a car bomb explosion near a security checkpoint in Al-Abr District in Hadhramaut Governorate, security sources said.
They added that the attacker is believed to belong to Al-Qaeda militants.
