Fahad Saeed Al Menhali, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the UAE, accompanied by embassy personnel, yesterday visited a number of the families of UAE martyrs who died while participating in the Saudi-led Arab coalition 'Operation Restoring Hope' supporting the legitimate government in Yemen.
The Yemeni Ambassador visited the families of Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri, Hadef Humaid Al Shamsi, Saad Mohammed Saleh Al Ahbabi, Butti Misfer Al Ahbabi, Saeed Rashid Al Neyadi, Ali Khamis bin Ayed Al Ketbi, Abdulaziz Sarhan Saleh Al-Kaabi, Omar Rashid Al Muqbali, and Abdullah Al-Nuaimi in Al Ain.
During his visit, the ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude on behalf of the Yemeni leadership, its government and people to the UAE leadership, represented by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for their support, assistance and sacrifice in defending the oppressed and its stance in the face of injustice.
The families of the martyrs expressed their deep satisfaction at the ambassador's visit, which they said embodies the depth of fraternal and historical relations between the two countries and brotherly peoples.
