Yemen's Vice President, Khalid Mahfouz Bahah, has lashed out at Houthi rebels, saying that their intransigence is derailing peace efforts and creating obstacles to make the exit from the current situation an even a great difficulty.
During his meeting in Riyadh yesterday with the ambassador of the United States of America to Yemen, Mathio Toller, Bahah said the legitimate government of Yemen is seeking to reach peace and evade more fighting, and welcomes any serious consultations that guarantee the implementation of the international community resolutions, led by the UN Security Council resolution No. 2216 in 2015.
According to a report from the Saudi Press Agency, the government-run Yemeni News Agency said the two sides discussed the mechanisms of joint work to restore security and stability in all Yemeni cities and provinces.
