Egyptian former footballer Ahmed Hassan praised his former coach Frankie Werkwaterin recommended to take the responsibility of Egypt’s football team of Zamalek, saying that he managed to gain the respect of his players in all teams he took their responsibility before.
He added, in a statement to “Muslimchronicle”, that his Belgium team of Anderlecht managed to win all championships in which they participated under his leadership, saying that he enjoys the strong and leading personality qualifying him to achieve positive results with any team he leads.
He stressed that such a coach need to take his opportunity to achieve the required results, adding that the board of Zamalek should not put him under pressure if they managed to sign a contract with him. He added, “I advise Zamalek’s board to appoint suitable and honest assistant to the coach not to appoint a person to undermine his work.”
