UK ambassador in Egypt John Casson likened British Queen Elizabeth with the Pharaoh King Ramesses II, noting that she was the longest serving monarch in Britain.
Queen Elizabeth was enthroned 63 years ago.
Writing on his own Twitter page in Arabic, Casson said Queen Elizabeth witnessed 12 prime ministers, and 20 ambassadors to Egypt over 63 years.
The British diplomat also attached his photo with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi while presenting his credentials, as well as a photo for Ramesses II along with Queen Elizabeth.
