The second batch of wounded Palestinian children and patients from the Gaza Strip has arrived in Kuwait for treatment in Kuwaiti hospitals at the behest of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday. The initiative is co-sponsored by the Palestine Children's Relief Society of the American Association in occupied Palestine. Director of Public Relations and Information Department in the Ministry Faisal Al-Dosari said in a statement today that one of the cases was transferred to the Ibn Sina Hospital and left after receiving the necessary treatment. He explained that two cases were transferred to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital for surgery and necessary treatment, adding that another case was admitted to the Physical Medicine Hospital and Rehabilitation for rehabilitation program. He said the case which was admitted to the physical medicine and rehabilitation hospital last August 21 was coming from Jordan after the patient's right leg was amputated due to gangrene. He pointed out that a temporary prostheses was installed for the patient for the current period to get used to.
