As many as 429 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Mersa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary on Tuesday.
Of all the returnees, 96 Egyptians had illegally traveled to Libya, he noted.
In the meantime, departure procedures of 873 passengers, including 255 Egyptians, have been finalized.
