President Omar Bashir on Wednesday addressed the Arab summit meeting currently in session in Amman, Jordan, pointing to the many challenges facing the nation and the need to exerts joint action to overcome them.
The president told the Arab leaders that for the nation to bypass those challenges, there is need for bringing together the Arab resources, Arab economic, political, intellectual and political might to serve the causes of the nation.
The president said those challenges are crystal clear for anyone to see and proposed holding of an Arab cultural summit, within the context of the joint Arab accord, and to work for fighting terrorism and to boost economic and social cooperation among Arab countries.
