Board Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Safwat Musellem said the company managed to successful overcome the hijacked domestic plane crisis.
On Tuesday, the EgyptAir Airbus A320, with 50 passengers on board along with seven cabin crew members and one security officer, was hijacked and forced to land in Cyprus.
Flight MS181 passenger plane was originally traveling from Alexandra's Borg El Arab Airport to Cairo.
Musellem said the plane crew managed to professionally handle the crisis, citing international praise of the crew action and the company's crisis management center.
Musellem pledged to continue developing the company, upgrading its fleet, further improving the services offered to passengers and training staff to hone their skills
