Members of the High Council of State of Libya held on Thursday a meeting with their counterparts at the Egyptian committee on Libya in the presence of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
The meeting was meant to probe outcome of recent meetings held by the Egyptian committee with Libyan rival parties over the Libyan crisis.
The Libyan delegation praised efforts exerted by the committee, under Egyptian Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Mahmoud Hegazy, to end turmoil in Libya.
They further expressed readiness to discuss with Libyan parliament members any proposed amendments to the political accord with a view to ending the Libyan crisis and maintaining the country's unity.
