The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has sent, on Thursday, an aid convoy to relieve internally displaced persons, IDP, in Dhale Governorate in Yemen, as part of the UAE's humanitarian programme to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, caused by the Houthi-led coup.
The ERC has answered a humanitarian appeal issued by Fadl Al Jaadi, Governor of Dhale, to provide food assistance to the IDPs.
The ERC confirmed that it will continue its distribution of food supplies to liberated areas.
Al Jaadi thanked the ERC for extending its humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people, and its efforts to improve local public services.
