ERC distributes food aid in Al Khaleef Aideed, Hadhramaut

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, today delivered food aid to individuals with disabilities and underprivileged families in Al Khaleef Aideed in Tarim Directorate, Hadhramaut, as part of the UAE’s continuous support for Yemen, under the directives of the wise leadership.

Ahmed Al Neyadi, Deputy Head of the ERC Team in Hadhramaut, highlighted the desire of the ERC to ease the suffering of those in need, especially those without the necessary supplies they require to survive. He also explained that providing food aid to the people of Hadhramaut is part of a series of humanitarian campaigns led by the ERC in the region.

Al Neyadi added that the ERC would continue to distribute aid in all the directorates of Hadhramaut.

Colonel Mansour Al Tamimi, Director-General of Tarim Directorate, praised the ERC’s role in improving the living standards of the residents of Hadhramaut, by continuously providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable families. He also stressed that the UAE’s contributions in Hadhramaut and other liberated governorates cannot be forgotten, especially as they have come during a time of difficult circumstances endured by the Yemeni people.

The locals expressed their appreciation to the UAE’s government and people for providing the aid.
