The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, HIPA, has concluded its participation in the summer camp set up by the ‘Dubai Club for People of Determination’. HIPA presented a Basics of Photography course to members of the club to take their photography skills to the next level at the camp themed, ‘To the Summit, Determined People’.
Commenting on the award's participation in the camp, Secretary-General of HIPA, Ali bin Thalith, said, "As per the vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Patron of HIPA, we have continued to share our photographic knowledge and expertise with various organisations and institutions in Dubai and the UAE."
Bin Thalith added, "As patrons of photography, we understand that people of determination often have a very creative outlook on all forms of art, and we saw some very talented photographers come out of the club and look forward to further partnerships in the near future."
Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Board at the Dubai Club for People of Determination, said, "The summer camp was a delightful experience for all members of the club who were able to showcase and in turn improve many of their skills. The club’s members are always aspiring to compete at the local level though they often dream of doing so internationally as well. Fortunately, this has been possible for some of them who have competed and starred in various international events and competitions. Their unique achievements are a source of great pride for us here at the club."
