Israeli bulldozers early Tuesday demolished, for the second time in a week, a Palestinian house in Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, according to a Palestinian source.
The Jordan News Agency quoted the Wadi Hilweh Information Centre in Silwan as saying in a statement that the home's owner, along with a number of citizens, completed yesterday the rebuilding of the house, which was destroyed by bulldozers from the occupation municipality in Jerusalem last Tuesday, under the pretext it was being built without a permit.
The residents of Al-Bustan neighbourhood fear that this Israeli offensive would be the beginning of a process to demolish the other 88 homes in the neighbourhood, where the occupation municipality ordered notifications to destroy them few years ago to establish settlement projects.
