Jordan is set to host the Arab-African Economic Forum on 27th September with the aim of promoting trade and investment among the countries of the two regions, according to Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, JCC, Nael Kabariti.
According to the Jordan News Agency, the two-day event is organised by the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for the Arab Countries, the JCC, the Arab League, the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Professions with the participation of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa.
The forum aims to enhance the private sector's role in key economic and developmental efforts and trade exchange and maximise joint investments between the Arab business community and its counterparts in the African countries.
