Issues related to combating terrorism and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Australia were discussed by Kuwait's Ambassador to Australia, Najib Abdurahman Al-Bader, and Australia's official in charge of Counter-terrorism , Paul Foley.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the ambassador stressed Kuwait's efforts and synergy with the international community to counter terrorism and dry up its sources of financing.
He added that Kuwait is working side by side with the international community against terrorism and its funding, through a full commitment to the relevant UNSC resolutions and recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force, FATF.
Foley welcomed the strengthening of bilateral security cooperation between the two countries to address the challenges related to terrorism, stressing the importance of strengthening international cooperation to combat terrorism.
