His Highness the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah landed in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday and is to start an official visit, which is part of an on-going tour of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. His Highness was greeted upon arrival to Al-Ain Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayid Al Nuhayyan and the Minister of Energy Muhammad bin Dhain Al-Hamili. In press remarks, Sheikh Nasser expressed joy at visiting the fellow GCC country and stressed he considers himself in his second home and feels among his brothers. He also noted he is pleased with the constant progress in relations between the two nations, made possible by the care and directives of His Highness the Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Al Nuhayyan. On his visit, His Highness remarked that it is part of efforts to share views, consider issues of joint interest, and coordinate stances on all developments, whether in the Gulf region or beyond. The goal is serving the interests and meeting the aspirations of the Gulf peoples. His Highness added he is eager to meet the UAE president and convey the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir, as well as His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
