Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan today paid inspection visits to the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) and Gulf Air where he held meetings with their officials and was briefed on the work of the grievience Committees charged with studying the legality of cases of dismissed workers in light of the guarantees provided by the Ministerial Order (22) for the year 1967. The visits are in line with the Labour Ministry’s keenness to follow up the implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman to reinstate workers dismissed as a result of the latest regretful incidents. Minister Humaidan lauded the tremendous efforts made by officials in both companies to address the issue of laid-off workers from both legal and humanitarian perspectives as soon as possible.
