A military funeral was held Saturday in Aswan for three soldiers, who were killed in a terror attack in Sinai late on Thursday.
Aswan Governor Magdy Hegazy, Assistant Interior Minister Aswan Security Chief Magdy Mousa, Commander of Aswan Military Sector Ashraf Maher, military, security, religious and executive officials along with scores of citizens took part in the funeral held at Aswan military airport for soldiers Amr Watani Ahmed, Ahmed Abdel Hakeem Abu Bakr and Islam Mohamed Sayed.
The governor offered condolences to the families of the slain soldiers, affirming that such terror attacks would make the Armed Forces men more determined to fulfill their national duties.
The governor said three schools would be named after the martyrs.
On Thursday, eight army servicemen were killed in a terrorist attack on a military checkpoint in North Sinai.
