In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Juma’a Al Ka’abi paid a visit today to a female citizen’s home in Muharraq. He was accompanied by Muharraq Municipality Director General Shaikh Khalifa bin Isa Al Khalifa and Municipal Council’s Head Abdul Nasser Al Mahmid. Dr. Al Ka’abi stressed HRH the Prime Minister keenness to reach out to citizens’ needs and ensure a decent life for them. “HRH the Prime Minister has urgently ordered the reconstruction of the citizen’s home as part of the reconstruction project of old houses. Consequently, the ministry took charge of tearing down and re-building the house as well as providing an alternative accommodation during the reconstruction period,” he said. “The ministry is working incessantly on improving citizens’ living conditions in line with the leadership’s directives to achieve sustainable development,” he added. “The next phase will witness completion of a line-up of projects the ministry has embarked on in line with HRH the Premier’s directives,” he affirmed pointing out other projects in the pipeline. Dr. Al Ka’abi hailed cooperation between the ministry and Muharraq’s Municipal Council in implementing vital development projects that meet citizens’ aspirations. “All citizens’ needs are our prime concern and the ministry is dedicating all its resources to the service of the nation and people,” he asserted.
