Deputy Jean Ogassapian pointed out that the electricity plan is a political issue which starts in protecting the accused and ends in the international tribunal. Moreover, the MP confirmed on Monday to \"Voice of Lebanon\" radio that the discord over electricity file persists and consultations among parties also continue to find a legal plan to prevent Minister Jebran Bassil from spending more than $1.2 billion according to his whims. He added that \"cabinet today is locked in an inner wrangling, adding that all evidences point that it is incapable of holding responsibility in these circumstances\", noting that there is a group inside the cabinet that threatens to withdraw from it. Ogassapian considered that the regional powers and \"Hizbullah\" decide either to keep or to topple the cabinet, calling on authorities to form a regulatory authority to manage the electricity plan. \"If the plan that was put in Prime Minister Saad Hariri\'s cabinet is proposed we (March 14) will agree on it\" the MP said, adding that \"Change and Reform\" bloc does not want to present a comprehensive plan but relies on procrastination.
