On the occasion of the World Youth Day, His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Saturday said Kuwait is proud of its youth who achieve great successes in fields of science, technology, medicine, sport etc. "Kuwaiti youth have proved over decades that they are the leading power for building and development as well as the source of hopes and aspirations to better future for their country," Sheikh Nasser said, hailing their hard work and creative initiatives. The Prime Minister underlined that Kuwait has lived before oil a difficult life, but ancestors faced these conditions with steadfastness, stability, and hard work. "Despite all these circumstances they managed to make outstanding achievements," he stressed. Sheikh Nasser urged all Kuwaitis, particularly youth, to shoulder their responsibilities towards Kuwait. "Today comes the role of youth in completing the march of building and progress in order to achieve the dream of building a great modern state based on science and solid values," he said.
