Saudi Arabian Airlines has so far been unable to schedule its flights to transport Qatari pilgrims from Hamad International Airport in Doha due to lack of permission from Qatari authorities, said Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines Saleh Al-Jasser.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Al-Jasser as saying that Qatari authorities have not allowed Saudi Arabian Airlines' planes to land despite the fact that many days passed since the request was made.
Saudi Airlines had asked Qatari authorities for permission for their trips to transport Qatari pilgrims, which were scheduled after the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The directives where taken after the mediation of Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani
