\"Islamic Affairs\" Directorate organizes a seminar on Zakat

The Directorate of Islamic Affairs in the Ministry of Justice & Islamic Affairs & Endowments shall organize on Friday 5th Ramadan a public lecture on Zakat by Dr. Mohammed Al-Awadhi from the sisterly State of Kuwait to be delivered at the Ministry of Education's auditorium in Isa Town. This lecture comes within the Zakat-related programs and activities in the second awareness season recently launched and organized by the Zakat & Alms Fund in the Religious Affairs Directorate exclusively patronized by Bahrain Islamic Bank. Dr. Al-Awadhi shall discuss diverse Zakat-related themes the most significant of the themes is Takaful - i.e. mutual sustenance - and how to curb newly-emerging negative phenomena and behaviors in the community. On the peripheries of the seminar, the names of winners of last year's Islamic Culture Competition shall be announced .
