The Royal Court said in a statement today that the Supreme Court announced that the crescent of Shawwal 1432 H. was seen this evening as a number of witnesses have testified, adding that Tuesday (30/09/2011) is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr (01/10/1432 H.). The Supreme Court congratulates the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Premier and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as Muslim expatriates on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, praying to Allah the Almighty to accept their fasting and good deeds. On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture and Information is pleased to congratulate the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; the royal family; the citizens; and the Muslim nation.
