The 21-year-old Sohar University student was taken straight to Muscat after being taken to Sohar Police station for traffic violation. He added that no charges were given in writing but seems he was orally told that he faces a charge of insulting the country\'s ruler among other charges. \"He is apparently also charged for breach of public security and for some of his postings on social media sites, including allegedly insulting video clips.\"
