The Sharjah Public Works Department, SPWD, has completed the new student housing units on Al Qasimia University's campus, at a cost of AED26 million.
Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SPWD, said that the new student housing project at Al Qasimia University one of the most specialised universities in Islamic studies has come to coincide with an increase in the number of students.
The project, aiming to provide modern housing for students in accordance with the latest international standards and modern specifications, provides a safe environment for several students, in line with the comprehensive growth of the emirate of Sharjah in various fields. It further comprises 31 rooms, in addition to a number of classrooms and living rooms.
The new accommodation’s architecture combines modern and Islamic style and features the most modern systems.
