Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir has commended the efforts made by the State of Qatar in resolving Arab crises, and termed the relations between Qatar and Sudan as a model. In an interview with Al Sharq newspaper published today, the Sudanese President hailed the role played by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in support of Sudan, as well as towards various Arab issues. The relations between Qatar and Sudan are a model of stability even at a time when the situation in the world is changing, Bashir said, adding that the ties between the two countries continued with a very close cooperation and consultation. \"We, in Sudan, feel no embarrassment for involving our brothers in Qatar even in our most delicate internal issues\". Regarding the Qatari role in the Darfur issue, President Bashir lauded the very high patience shown by Qatar in this regard, adding that Qatar was determined to proceed to make the negotiations a success, expressing hope that such Qatari efforts be continued to serve the Arab nation.
