Interim Prime Minister Béji Caïd Essebsi left for Paris on Thursday, at the invitation of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, to attend the international conference of support to "New Libya." The PM will have talks in Paris with presidents and high officials of brotherly and friendly states attending this conference which gathers delegations of 60 countries. The aim of this conference is to "bring transition to a successful end" in post-Gadhafi Libya, says a communiqué of the Elysée. Tunisia had recognised last august 20 the National Transitional Council as legitimate representative of the Libyan people.
