The UAE pilgrims have performed their Hajj rituals with ease and convenience, Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, as well as Head of the UAE official Hajj Mission, said in a statement on Saturday.
On Sunday, the second day of Tashreeq (third day of Eid al-Adha), pilgrims will continue to stone the devil during the final Hajj rite, and then perform the farewell circumambulation of the Kaaba, before they leave the holy lands for their homeland.
"The members of the Hajj Mission have made diligent efforts to serve the pilgrims so that they can perform the fifth pillar of Islam easily and comfortably,"
he stated.
"This year's Hajj season was successful and safe, thanks to the professionalism, and the experience of the mission's Emirati workers and committees,"
he noted.
Dr. Al Kaabi thanked the UAE's leadership for their support to the mission, and for enquiring about and caring for the well-being of the UAE pilgrims.
