H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Executive Council Member, has said that Emirati women have, since the establishment of the state, earned the trust placed by the UAE's leadership in them, stressing that they are a fundamental pillar of society. Today, women support the sustainable development in all its fields and have become an example not only in the Arab world but also globally.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE leadership, since the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and current leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has spared no effort to create an encouraging and supportive environment the Emirati woman so that she can assume her critical role in ensuring the development and glory of the nation.
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has played an exceptional role in supporting Emirati women's march and empowerment to support the development process in the humanitarian, social, economic, and cultural sectors, among others. "Dedicating a day to highlight UAE women's efforts under the theme, "Women are Partners in Giving" is the best evidence of UAE's confidence in women," he added.
He extended a message of gratitude to every Emirati woman who contributed to supporting the process of giving and good in all fields and all the roles that they have played in building the nation, emphasising that UAE women will continue their journey with great strides
