In this period, Tunisia is witnessing exceptional temperatures exceeding 40 degrees in almost all regions, which requires a number of precautions for the prevention of heat waves.
The specialized nutrition doctor Laila Alwan told Muslimchronicle a number of tips to cope with rising temperatures, namely:
- Drink large amounts of water that do not be too cold.
- Continuous moistening of the head, face and neck.
- Do not drink soft drinks and ice cream.
- Drink the juice that does not have a lot of sugar.
- Drink milk and fresh yogurt.
- Staying home for the elderly.
- Wear white cotton clothes.
- Do not sit too much in front of the air conditioner.
- Do not go to the beach between 10 am and 4 pm, especially for children.
The National Meteorological Institute has announced that a remarkable rise in temperature in Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
