Cairo – Hafiz Ali

After the Egyptian actress Mirna Walid finished  filming her role in the "Imam Ghazali" series, she traveled to a number of European countries so she was not able to watch her performance, in which she  plays the role of Imam al-Ghazali’s wife. Because the series is exclusive to the Egyptian television, she decided to watch the episodes over the Internet. Mirna Walid said in a statement to the Arabstoday: "I was surprised when I watched the episodes on the Internet which showed the deleting of all the scenes that showed my hair without a veil. I could not do anything but cry over the effort I put in over five months. After a few days, I decided to contact the director Ibrahim al-Shawady to ask him about the reason deleting my scenes, he said 'your scenes were not deleted and nothing was changed.' He said that the person who uploaded the episodes is the one who deleted the scenes, so I knew who deleted them."
